The Business Plot was BS

I really didn't want to ever make another post on this Blog as I'm not a Conspiracy Theorist at all anymore, hence my renaming this blog as Defunct.  But something relevant to the topic has been bugging me that I need to get off my chest.

I find it fascinating how The Business Plot is the one Conspiracy that even the most Anti-Conspiracy Theory people on the Internet right now unironically consider to be unambiguously true, form Centrist History YouTubers to BreadTubers.  Even Leftists critical of other seemingly Leftist in nature Conspiracy Theories.

Because to me it's so obviously BS.  When you look at all the actual relevant History in context, Smedley Butler was clearly fabricating it.

First of all he was being quite a bit more specific in who he was accusing then the standard Popular retellings imply.  His targets were The American Liberty League and The American Legion.  And I am no apologist for those organizations, I absolutely do consider them capable of considering something like this.

But the idea that in 1933 they would turn a guy who was already publicly one of The American Legion's most vocal haters when they had a number of viable popular Strongman candidates of their own, Douglas MacArthur, Theodore Roosevelt Jr, George C Patton to name a few, is ridiculous.

You see Butler was a VFW member.  Back then there was a huge Beef between those groups with the VFW being very left leaning while the American Legion was openly identifying itself with Mussolini.  This whole thing was driven by that beef.

It clearly has a lot to do with people all over the political spectrum loving a lot of what he had to say in War Is A Racket, and so do I.  But having good politics doesn't prevent one from being a scam artist.

The investigation into Butler's claims was done by the McCormack-Dickstein Committee, if there was real solid evidence they would have acted.

I do still believe some things you can consider Conspiracy Theory adjacent, I still believe the CIA has done more shady stuff then what's officially declassified.  And I'm a Leftist now.  Yet The Business Plot still doesn't hold water.

J. R. Church's Guardians of The Grail 1989

My copy of this book was already an old used copy when I first obtained it years ago, I think when Church was still with us, everything highlighted and underlined in it was already like that when I got it.  I used to be a big fan of Prophecy In The News but never agreed with them on everything and over the last decade my views on a lot of subjects have changed.

This book is an American Evangelical Christian response to/appropriation of the Holy Blood, Holy Grail/Priory of Sion conspiracy theory before it was cool, before The DaVinci Code made it a mainstream cultural phenomenon.

Starting on page 14 is a genealogy of the supposed Grail Bloodline that has a lot of historical errors in it.  But I don't know how much that is Church's own fault and how much comes from the original Priory of Sion hoax documents forged by Pierre Plantard.

It starts as a genealogy of the Merovingian Dynasty which seems pretty accurate down to Dagobert II.  Then it lists a Sigisbert IV as a son of Dagobert II which is the foundational claim of the Priory of Sion hoax.  It's not impossible that Dagobert II had a son not known to the contemporary historians because of how weak our documentation of that era is in general, and also because the Merovingians tended to delay Baptizing and officially naming their children.  So it's a plausible claim, but right now any genealogy listing Dagobert II as having a known documented son is doing so based on that hoax.

So everyone on this list from Sigisbert IV until the first Eustace of Boulogne is probably purely the fiction of the original hoax.  I don't know whether or not the original hoax claimed Godfrey of Bouillon and his brothers were part of this bloodline or if that was simply added by Crusades Nerds later.  Their real Pater-Lineal ancestry can only be traced back as far as Baldwin I Margrave of Flanders who lived in the 800s and married a daughter of Charles The Bald an heir of Charlemagne.  It's not impossible he descended from an unknown cadet branch of the Merovingians, but it can't be proven.

This genealogy then makes two weird mistakes at the First Crusade generation.  1. It claims they had a sister named Alex who was married to Henry IV Holy Roman Emperor which is not the case, all known children of Eustace II of Boulogne were sons.  Henry IV had a couple different wives, none were directly related to the houses of Boulogne or Flanders.  2. It merges Baldwin I of Jerusalem who was a brother of Godfrey with Baldwin II of Jerusalem who descended from different noble houses, so that it can claim one individual has both the ancestors of Baldwin I and descendants of Baldwin II.

The next weird error is pretty much claiming all descendants of Fulk V of Anjou King of Jerusalem descended from Melisande of Jerusalem, in fact the Plantagenet Dynasty as well as other later Counts of Anjou descended from Fulk V's first wife.

However the most randomly weird claim of the genealogy is that Philip II Augustus of France was a son of Henry II of England.  That one really baffles me.

But from Philip II Augustus of France down to Karl Von Habsburg on page 18 it is accurate.  The next section which is about tracing the Holy Roman Emperors to the Habsburgs I can't comment on, I haven't looked into that history nearly as much.

The main objective of this genealogy is to trace the House of Valois-Anjou to the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.  Amusingly the Valois Dynasty does descend from Henry II of England.

The Kings of France descend from Henry II of England starting with Louis IX and his full brother Charles of Anjou.  Their maternal grandmother was Eleanor of England a daughter of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine.  Meanwhile their paternal Grandmother descended from a daughter of Fulk V,  and was also descended from the counts of Hainaut (another offshoot of Flanders) through a sister of the first Latin Emperors.

Louis IX was the direct Paterlineal ancestor of Charles Valois as well as the Bourbon Dynasty, and Charles of Anjou was the direct Paterlineal ancestor of Margaret, Countess of Anjou and Maine the wife of Charles Valois from whom he inherited his claim to Anjou.  Charles Valois through his mother descended from Agnes of Antioch a granddaughter of a sister of Melisande, and from Yolanda of Flanders & Peter II of Courtenay, as well as Eudokia Komnene a Byzantine Princess.

I talked about the Valois Dynasty including a little bit it's connection to Anjou in the post I made in April about the Crusader Crown of Jerusalem.  But ultimately that focused more on the Burgundian branch of the Valois Dynasty which descended from the youngest son of King John II of France.  The Valois-Anjou dynasty descends from an older son of John II, Louis I Duke of Anjou.

Direct Paterlineal descent from the Valois-Anjou line ends with sons of Rene I of Anjou and so the line continued long term through his daughter Yolande of Anjou who married Frederick of Lorraine.  In addition to being the progenitors of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty they also sired the Guise, the arch enemies of the Hugenots during the French Wars of Religion.

Rene I of Anjou is also on the list of alleged Grand Masters of the Priory of Sion, but it's weird because that timeline has him Grand Master already as a nine year old in 1418.  His family also played a role in the history of Jeanne d'Arc.

The Curse of Balal was lifted at Pentecost

It's common for Fundamentalist Christians, particularly ones who are Conspiracy Theorists, to argue against the concept of Globalism by pointing to Genesis 11, Global Government is evil because it's a do over of the Tower of Babel.

The thing is this ignores how much of The New Testament is about Jesus and The Holy Spirit through The Church undoing the various curses inflicted upon mankind because of our sins over the course of the Book of Genesis (and beyond).  Culminating in us returning to Eden in Revelation 21-22.

And the undoing of the confusion of tongs in Genesis 11 is explicitly one of the things Acts 2 is about.  And we later see in Corinthians that in addition to a spiritual gift for speaking in other Tongs there is a also a gift for interpreting tongs.

In Romans 11 Paul explains that God is going to graft the fullness of the Gentile Nations into Israel and THEN All of Israel will be Saved.  In Revelation 21 the Gates of New Jerusalem are never closed and all the nations bring their treasures into it.

The main person speaking in Acts 2 is Peter who in his First Epistle tells us he is now at Babylon.

And the Veil being torn in The Temple when Jesus was on The Cross symbolized Man no longer being separated from God. At Pentecost we became His Temple.

None of this means I'm enthusiastic about the Capitalist Global Government the Billionaires and Mega-Corporations are trying to impose on us.  I already did a post on my Prophesy Blog about how Babylon in Revelation is Capitalism.

But objecting to Globalization simply on the grounds of saying "God divided the nations at Babel" displays a really insulting Biblical illiteracy.

For those confused by the title of this post.  It is partly a Symphogear reference, I think I might be the only Western Symphogear fan who knows that Balal is the Hebrew word for Confusion used in the text of Genesis 11.  The comments section on Crunchyroll I remember assumed it was a reference to Baal.

The Knights Templars and the Outremer Crown of Jerusalem.

Every European Noble who has formally and publicly claimed the title "King of Jerusalem" since the Crusader states fell has done so via some claim of succession from Baldwin II of Jerusalem.  But an argument can be made that Baldwin II was a usurper to begin with.

Now in my opinion the Crusader States were invalid to begin with, Christians should view Jesus as the only King of Jerusalem and that land as belonging to The Jews.  But this post is being done in the context of what old fashioned Feudal European logic was.

Godfrey de Bouillon declined the title of King in 1099 and instead went by Protector of the Holy Sepulcher under which title he founded the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher.  By both the same father and mother Godfrey had an older brother and a younger brother, both of whom also took part in the first Crusade.

It was his younger brother Baldwin I who proclaimed himself the first King of Jerusalem.  Which was funny because even by the "Right of Conquest" logic he didn't take part in the siege of Jerusalem, he was too busy Little Fingering his way to the thrown of Edessa.

Their older bother Eustace III of Boulogne did take part in the siege of Jerusalem.  When Baldwin I died in 1118 he was offered the Throne of Jerusalem, at first he was hesitant to take it but then decided he would.  But then when on the way there he heard Baldwin II had been crowned and he decided to just head back home, he died in less then a decade anyway.

He only had one child, a daughter, Matilda of Boulogne.  She married Stephen of England and had five children, however only Marie I Countess of Boulogne had any children of her own.  Basically long term descent from Eustace III of Boulogne comes entirely from Matilda of Boulogne's marriage to Henry I Duke of Barbant, more often then not through Henry II Duke of Barbant.  His sons include the founder of the House of Hesse, but the claims to the title of Duke of Barbant all descend from Henry III Duke of Barbant, who was succeeded by three straight John of Barbants.  Henry II of Barbant's first wife was a descendant of Fredrick Barbarossa, and his second wife descended from Barbarossa's sister.

The Paterlineal ancestry of the Counts of Boulogne go back to Adalulf Count of Boulogne, his brother Arnulf I of Flanders would be the progenitor of other nobles involved in the Crusades including the Counts of Flanders and the Latin Emperors of Constantinople.  Their mother was  Ælfthryth of Wessex daughter of Alfred The Great.  Their father was Baldwin II of Flanders, son of Baldwin I of Flanders and Judith a great-granddaughter of Charlemagne.  Baldwin of Flanders' ancestry isn't known.

The Grandson of Charlemagne who was Judith's father was Charles The Bald, specifically he inherited West Francia, which basically became what we now know as France, though Flanders and Barbant specifically are in Belgium.  Judith was the first born child of Charles The Bald, older then any of his sons.  So an argument can be made that especially once all the male line Carolingian dies out the Heirs to Flanders became the rightful heirs to France.

Eustace III also became one of the early Patrons of the Knights Templars.  However another early noble supporter and maybe also member of the Knights Templars was Fulk V of Anjou.  A number of Grand Masters of the order also came from Anjou.  The Count of Anjou during the third Crusade was King Richard I of England, the Grand Master of the Templars at that time was Robert de Sable who was a very close ally to Richard.  Wolfram von Eschenbach's Parzival is the origin of associating the Templars with the Holy Grail, it also associates the Grail with a royal family from Anjou which produces Parzival himself and others.

In 1290 Charles of Valois became Count of Anjou by his marriage to Margaret Countess of Anjou.  He very strongly publicly opposed the execution of Jacques de Molay last Grand Master of the Knights Templars in 1314.  The sudden tragedies that befell the family of Philip IV following this resulted in the descendants of Charles and Margaret ruling France for over 200 years till the rise of the Bourbon Dynasty.

The House of Valois would go on to make a number of dynastic connections to descendants of Henry II of Barbant.  But the most significant of them was Philip the Bold's marriage to Margaret III of Flanders, through which their descendants would inherit the titles of Count of Flanders (and with it a potential claim to being the Latin Emperor) and Duke of Barbant, thus making them the heirs to Eustace III's claim to the Throne of Jerusalem.

The thing is, there is no need to look at weird Secret History to find a continuation of The Knights Templars.  The King of Portugal in 1307-1314 never went along with their suppression and thus the Templars in Portugal became the Military Order of Christ which continues to this day.  From 1417-1460 the Grand Master of the Order of Christ was Henry the Navigator, a younger son of the then King of Portugal, his mother was also a Lancaster. In January of 1430 his Sister Isabella of Portugal married Philip The Good.

Philip The Good was a paternal grandson of Philip the Bold.  At this time he had already inherited the title Count of Flanders and before 1430 is over he'll become Duke of Barbant upon the death of his paternal Cousin.  He celebrated this marriage by founding the Order of the Golden Fleece, and to this day the Grandmasters of that Order are the direct heirs of Philip the Good through Charles the Bold his son by Isabella. Charles the Bold's only child was a daughter Mary of Burgundy who married Maximilian Holy Roman Emperor, they were the grandparents of Emperor Charles V and Ferdinand making the Hapsburg Dynasty the Heirs of Barbant and Flanders right down to the current Karl von Hapsburg, and the King of Spain.

An offshoot of that order is the Order of Saint George which became the Imperial Order of St George.  Who's Grand Master is also still Karl von Hapsburg.  All of these orders are Roman Catholic orders, some more wiling to let non Catholics in then others.

Philip The Good was on the side of the English during much of the latter phase of the Hundred Years War, it was he who captured Jeanne d'Arc and the Cardinal who orchestrated her trail was a close associate of his.  He would switch sides later however.

This Blog isn’t Dead

I won’t be making be making any new posts on it for the foreseeable future since I’m out of completely new ideas, and really have been for awhile.

But I’ll still be notified of any new comments left and still try to respond to them.  I may continue editing/updating some old posts as well.

If I do wind up making a new post because a burst of inspiration came to me.  That doesn’t likely mean I’ll be returning to making new posts regularly.

This YouTube video talks a lot about the Widow's Son concept in Freemasonry, philosophically and mystically, showing how Gnostic the Masonic Lore can be.

But I want to talk a little bit about the potential Biblical significance of this phrase.

What does it mean to call someone a Widow's Son?  Just that the mother was a Widow at the time the statement is made or refers to?  Statistically most women outlive their husbands (Miriam died less then a year before Moses even though she was older then him by enough to supervise his basket's journey down the Nile), so there is no shortage of mothers who have been Widows at some point in their life.  Or does it mean she was one by the time the son was born?  Is the implied dead husband the father or someone else?

Because Joseph doesn't seem to be present in The Gospel narrative after the jump from Jesus being 12 to "about 30", many speculate he must have died by then.  Yet The Bible never explicitly tells us that, and never calls Mary a Widow or Jesus the Son of a Widow.

The Widow's Son of Freemasonry is ostensibly supposed to be Hiram the architect of Solomon's Temple (not to be confused with Hiram king of Tyre, called Hirom in my English translation of Josephus quotation of Meander, who recommended this Hiram for that job).

This Hiram, sometimes called Huram in translations, is the subject of an alleged Bible contradiction.  A number of alleged contradictions come from Kings and Chronicles accounts of the same history describing things differently.  In this case, Hiram's mother is called both a Widow of Naphtali (in 1 Kings 7:14) and a Daughter of Dan (in II Chronicles 2:14).  The answer here is simple in my view, she was a Danite by birth, married a man of Naphtali, he died (I suspect they had heirs since there wasn't a Leverite marriage), then she entered a relationship with a man of Tyre (this man of Tyre is never refereed to as her husband) and by him had Hiram/Huram.

The Masonic story of Hiram interests me in how it demonstrates how determined Satan is to contradict The Bible.  The Bible says so little about Hiram (What little it says is all in 1 Kings 7 and II Chronicles 2-4.), that it would be easy I feel to write a fictional elaboration on the character without contradicting what little The Bible says, I could write multiple scripts that go in different directions and still each one would not contradict what little The Bible says.

So that the Masonic narrative makes a pretty big blunder I feel must have been on purpose, the people who wrote these rituals were clearly educated men of their time, I do not doubt that they did what research was available to them.

1 Kings 7:40 clearly says Hiram did finish all the work Solomon gave him.  The II Chronicles account does not disagree with that.  But the Masonic narrative says he died while a key stone had still not been put in place.  And this stone becomes known as "The Stone that the Builders rejected" which is a phrase taken from Psalm 118 that The New Testament uses as a Title of Christ.

Josephus in Against Apion Book 1 chapters 17 and 18 quotes two Phoenician Historians, Dius and Meander.  Both refer to a person of Tyre who solved problems with Solomon (as Hiram is also described as doing) though there is no clear reference to this person being an Architect.  Dius names this person Abdemon, in Meander he's unnamed but called a younger son of Abdemon.  It could be this was the name of his father, or another name he went by, sometimes people in antiquity were called by the name of their father.  I can't help but suspect this name is partly where the Abiff surname for the Masonic Hiram comes from.

Another Biblical figure who could be called a Widow's Son was also a contemporary of Solomon.  Jeroboam son of Nebat.  1 Kings 11:26 says his mother's name was Zeruah and that she was a Widow.  And another thing these two widow's sons have in common is a connection to Dan, since Jeroboam built one of his two Calfs at Dan.  Is it possible that the Masons want to claim descent from Solomon's Temple when they really come from Jeroboam's Temples?  Masonry does heavily promote British Israelism, particularly the Orange Lodge.

Another Widow's Son of The Bible would be the Son of the Widow of Zarephath who Elijah rose from The Dead.  There is an obscure passage in The Talmud that suggests this Widow's son is Messiah Ben-Joseph, interestingly Jeroboam is also someone a wanna be Messiah Ben-Joseph might seek to identify himself with.

Acts 1 quotes a verse of Psalm 109 in reference to Judas Iscariot, that leads to speculation if all of Psalm 109 could be applied to Judas.  Verse 9 says "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.".  So if Judas had a wife and children (which some passages are taken as implying all the Disciples did), any son would be a Widow's Son.

Evidence that Thermusa was a daughter of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar

I'm unsure how much this fits here, I want to do a post on it, but am not comfortable doing it on any of my other Blogs.  But it's something I may need to reference for a future project.  All of these observations, and the main conclusion, which others have made before me.

In May 44 BC Cicero wrote to a friend indicating that Cleopatra (then in Rome) was pregnant with Caesar's child:

"I am grieved to hear of Tertia's loss of an expected child...(but) I should be glad of such a loss in the case of the queen (Cleopatra) and that [expected] scion of the breed of Caesar.​" [Cicero, ad Atticum, 14:20:2, 14:20:2, 15:1:5, 15:4:4]

There is also a coin of Cleopatra's which shows her suckling a child, usually interpreted to be Caesarion, and marked 'Kupr' (Cyprus).  Cleopatra only acquired control of Cyprus in 43 BC, when time Caesarion who was born in 47 BC would be too old to be a suckling infant.

[Update April 4th 2024: The only part of this post I still agree with is Cleopatra having an addition child with Julius Caesar and only her being d daughter explains escaping further mention.  But I no longer thikn Augustus would have given such a valuable marriage to the Parthians.  Thermusa was killed when she was because her people viewed her a low born.

David Icke was right all along, I never should have doubted him.

The Draconian are real, but thankfully Trump is the first United States President who isn't one of them.  Instead he's a Shape Shifting  Citrus, which is why he's building a Wall to protect Americans form Scurvy.

But it's not just the Royals and the Bankers, shape shifting Reptilians are everywhere, they could be your neighbor or your babysitter and you'd never know it.

You see the evidence that tipped the scale and finally opened my eyes was a Japanese Documentary TV series I've been watching, about a Shape Shifting Draconian who's also a Maid, and a Lesbian.  It's called Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid-Dragon.

This documentary also revealed that the Aztec feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl is a real, but it turns out he is a she, and in her human form she makes Powergirl look like Konata.

So keep an eye out for people who could be Shape Shifting Reptilians.  And remember this Warning I gave you on this day, the first day of the month of April............

The Mandeans, Gnosticism, Mary and Jesus

The Mandeans are considered a form of Gnosticism.  But they also claim to be the sect John The Baptist lead.

Unlike many well known Gnostics, they did not revere Jesus.

Core Mandean texts do not seem to mention Jesus by name, which is why some question whether or not Jesus is who is meant in these passages, some want to say it's Paul.

In the fold of their robe they carried me up into the dark house, into the temple. Adonai laid a charge on my hands and on my two arms: I must scour and cleanse the house [that is] without firmness. I have mostly copied these from a Website wanting to say they refer to Paul not Jesus.  It simply doesn't work though.  This villain is specifically depicted as being Hung on a Stake or Crucified.  And he has a Brother who was also a leader of his sect, that fits James, but Paul is not known to have had any siblings.

The main thing that takes people by surprise is the Maria of this narrative being his lover rather then Mother.  Well I suspect that The Virgin Mary is not who was meant, but that it's an early example of people wanting to depict Mary Magdalene or Mary of Bethany as a lover of Jesus.

Why am I making a blog post on this?  I don't know, I just find it interesting.  I'm certainly not endorsing what the Mandeans believe.  As the only Ancient Gnostic sect to have survived to the modern day, they are an interesting anomaly.

They also depict The Holy Spirit (which is called Ruha d-Qudsha) as evil.

Freemasonry and British Espionage

I am still a conspiracy theorist.  But I've grown to view the fixation on the Bavarian Illuminati as a bit of a distraction.  They are relevant, but I think the greater narrative is less that they took over Freemasonry and more that older agendas within Freemasonry hijacked their methods.  I've alluded to much of this before in Illuminati Vs Esoteric Freemasonry.

The source of the Conspiracy I believe in is British Freemasonry, and related institutions of the British Occult.  I find it suspicions that England's Monarchy was the only one never toppled by the Masonic influenced Revolutions of the late 18th and 19th Centuries.  Given how Organized Freemasonry began in Britain and then spread to other regions from there.  A fact I make a point of talking about in England and Egypt.

1717 is the year the Premier Grand Lodge of England was founded.  The same year George I became King establishing the House of Hanover.  In the party system of England at that time the Whig Party was the party that was most allied with King George himself.  It's interesting then how many notable Freemasons of this period, including Grand Masters, were Whigs.  Philip Wharton was the most notable exception, he was an Early Grand Master, but was a Jacobite rather then a Whig.  He also founded the original Hellfire Club, which has no provable connection to the later more famous one.

Sir Robert Walpole was a Freemason, in fact it seems the Masons sometimes met in his residence.

He was a very important figure in the Whig party.  He is considered both the first Prime Minister, and still the longest serving one, his ambitions pretty much created the office and made it rather then the King the real Head of Government.  His rise to power is also tied to The South Sea Bubble.

Many notable Freemasons of of the 18th Century, including Grand Masters, were members of the Royal Society first. Isaac Newton was in charge of the Royal Society from the beginning of the Century until his death in 1727.  Newton is not known to have been a Freemason himself, but John Theophilus Desaguliers was a important early Grand Master and was also a student of Isaac Newton.  Newton was involved in Alchemy and Rosicrucianism, which goes back to Sir Francis Bacon and his mentor John Dee.  And among his occult studies was a fixation on studying the architecture of Solomon's Temple, an important theme of Freemasonry.

At the same time he ran the Royal Society he was also in charge of the Royal Mint.  Newton is really the one who invented the Gold Standard.   Contrary to what many Libertarians think Silver far more often then Gold was the standard unit of common currency for most of Human History.  Just studying financial transactions in The Bible will show that Gold was used mostly in really large transactions.

All these connections of Newton are probably why the authors of the Priory of Sion hoax made him one of it's Grand Masters.  It's a Hoax I know full well is a Hoax but I can't help but be curious about the logic that went behind who they chose to make Grand Masters.  At first it makes sense, people in positions to possibly care about an alternative claim to the French Throne, (besides two random Italians).  But from 1595-1745 they are all Englishmen, most of them part of England's occult history.  Then two members of the House of Lorraine, then Frenchmen who weren't Monarchists at all.

Much has been written about how Espionage used to often be carried out via Occult Secret Society Circles back before they had official Government Agencies like the CIA or MI6.  Francis Walsingham spymaster of Queen Elizabeth is often credited with inventing modern espionage.  There is reason to suspect John Dee served as a spy under him, and also Francis Bacon.

It is possible that within these circles there would also develop different factions driven by the different political factions England was divided into.  Support for the new post Stuart monarchs allied with the Whigs or Tories, and Jacobites supporting the Stuarts who were often Catholic.  But perhaps also Anti-Monarchists descended from various factions of the failed English Revolution.  Like those I talked about on my other Blog about Libertarian-Communism.

The early development of organized Freemasonry in France and Italy can both be traced to English Freemasonry.  Dilon claimed that Voltaire was initiated into a Lodge in England while he was there in his early life, but there is no real independent evidence to confirm that claim.  The Count of Saint-Germain also first popped up in England.  And Cagliostro founded his Memphis-Misraim lodge in England in 1776, then spread it all over the continent.

 Sir Francis Dashwood who founded the famous Hellfire Club has no known connection to the original Hellfire Club.  But like it's founder he was an enemy politically of Walpole.  And while not openly a Jacobite there is reason to suspect he might have been one secretly.  Also I know of no evidence he was a Freemason but he was a member of the Royal Society.

Benjamin Franklin makes at least one known overlap between the Hellfire Club and the Nine Sisters Lodge, a Lodge in France devoted to gaining French support for the American Revolution.  And I've discussed on this blog before reasons to suspect a Jacobite connection to the American Revolution.

Nicolas Bonneville wrote books on Freemasonry while being involved in Freemasonry in England before returning to France to be a vital figure in the French Revolution.  It seems he was friends with John Oswald, I don't know if he can be proven to have been a Mason.

Erasmus Darwin was a documented member of English Freemasonry, as was his brother and son.  He was the Grandfather of Charles Darwin and Francis Galton, and actually anticipated their Pseudo-Scientific theories in his own writings.

In 1795-98 The Orange Lodge and Orange Order were founded, which could be viewed as the Anglican Church's counterpart to the Jesuits. It has been strongly politically involved in opposing both Irish and Scottish independence.  And they encourage belief in British Israelism.

In the 19th Century it starts becoming common for the Grand Master to be a member of the Royal Family.  The father of Queen Victoria was a Grand Master and very involved in reorganizing Masonry at the time.  Later her son and Crown Prince would be Grand Master until he took the Throne and then the Grand Mastership was taken by his brother.  The Grand Masters during World War II were a brother and brother in-law of the then reigning King.  The current Grand Master is the heir of one of the WWII Grand Masters.

The movie From Hell is based on a Comic Book based on a real theory about Jack The Ripper and his murders being tied to Freemasonry and the Royal Family.  Not sure if I think that theory is the correct one, but it's interesting.

Giuseppe Mazzini who was an important figure in both Italian Freemasonry and the Carbonari before creating his own Secret Societies (starting with Young Italy and Young Europa), was harbored in England and closely tied to Lord Palmerston, who had been Prime Minister, and had a complicated relationship with Napoleon III.  Palmerston has been a focus of many conspiracy theory themed books.  At the moment I do not know if it can be confirmed that he was a Freemason.  But I know he wasn't the official Grand Master as Dilon made it sound.

Aleister Crowley was an Englishman.  There is no proof he was a Mason like many claim.  But the Secret Societies he was involved with before creating his own were ones founded by 19th Century English Freemasons, chiefly the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

Here is my message to Donald Trump

As someone who didn't vote for you but is from the region chiefly responsible for your victory (Racine Wisconsin to be specific) my message is this.

If you are only going to keep only one of your campaign promises.  It better be ending the Free Trade Agreements, like NAFTA and CAFTA and the TPP, and stuff directly related to that.  Your strong turn out in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota was chiefly because of people who voted for Bernie in the Primary (I voted for Bernie) and you in the general because they voted chiefly on that issue.  Because we are the most hurt the ramifications of those agreements.

They don't care if you build the Wall or even necessarily want that.  Or about your Muslim Ban, or defeating ISIS.  And certainly not any of the typical Republican positions you espoused.

I was unwilling to vote for because I didn't trust you on this, given how your businesses have themselves benefited from those agreements.  And because I was offended by the Xenophobia you appealed to.

IF however you actually do keep this promise, and the fears Mexicans and Muslims have of your turns out to be unfounded.  You might, just maybe might win my vote for 2020.

But if not, you don't keep that promise, you will lose the people who chiefly gave this victory and have no hope of reelection.

The second promise I personally care about (in the sense of would like you to keep it) is legalizing Marijuana.  But for that I see no evidence many people voted on that.

We're seeing the Hegelian Dialectic in action

There is no doubt in my mind this Orlando shooting was staged, now that I see how it's all playing out.

In this case though it's not a standard Thesis-Antithesis, but rather more Demthesis (Democrat agenda) and Repubhesis (Republican agenda).

Demthesis: Ban guns, or at least require background checks, and maybe throw Hate-Crime legislation in there.

Repubthesis: Ban Muslims, be afraid of Muslims, spy on the Mosques, build a wall, turn away refugees, wage war in the middle east, increase military spending and the Patriot act.

Synthesis: Ban people on the Terror Watch list from buying Guns.

It didn't take long at all for the Dems to make that their starting point.  And now Trump is calling for it saying he's gonna sit down with the NRA on it.  And we got Fox News Pundits saying it's "Common Sense".

Don't forget thanks to the Patriot Act and everything passed after 9/11 how insanely easy it is to get put on the watch list.  You don't have to be a Muslim, plenty of White-Male-Christians have gotten on there for being Anti-Authoritarian.  But if you are a Muslim, good luck staying off it, I'll bet you are on it and don't even know it.

Basically this "compromise" will effectively kill the Second Amendment, the Dems won't need anything else they are calling for.  And the Islamophobes won't need anything else either once they've used this to disarm every Muslim.

This was the real goal all along, don't be fooled, we need to fight this tooth and nail.  Remember the first Gun Law in this country was supported by the NRA and was a law banning the newly freed slaved from owning guns.  So it's not the first time bigotry has factored into restricting gun rights.

Conspiracy Theories surrounding Antarctica have also been important to the recent Flat Earth craze, hijacking claims originally made about Admiral Bird by Hollow Earth theorists.

Thing is, I have my doubts these real life fringe theories about something mysterious in Antarctica predate the known Fiction on the subject.

It begins at least as early as Edgar Allen Poe's The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket (1838) .

Jules Verne then wrote a sequel to that called Le Sphinx des glaces, The Sphinx of the Ice Fields.  Where Antarctica has a Sphinx rather then a Pyramid.

The French Wold Newton Universe authors love expanding on these stories and tying them into other fiction.

The Novel Who Goes There, which inspired The Thing from another World and it's remakes, speculates an Alien presence in Antarctica.

Another story to draw directly on Poe's was H. P. Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness.

And at least one Anime is relevant to this topic, Neon Genesis Evangelion.  I think there might be at least one other that involved something in Antarctica, I'll have to think about it.

I don't have anything in depth to say, I just want to spread awareness of it.
